Are you an experienced Special Needs Teacher ready to face a new challenge?

** SEN Teacher/Lecturer
** Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Unit
** ASD Experience necessary
** Immediate Start
** Experience with Cerebral Palsy/Downs Syndrome and associated difficulties
** Responsible for the cognitive, physical, development of young adults

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher/Lecturer – who has experience of working with children and young adults who have either cerebral palsy, Downs Syndrome, Autism and associated difficulties. This would be a short term contract (initially) with the right candidate turning perm.

This is for a charitable run PMLD specialist provision delivering both Life Skills and education. The teacher doesn’t just teach, they are part of a team with all team members sharing responsibility for the cognitive, physical, development e.g. toileting and feeding of the children is therefore carried out by all members of the staff team within the group. However, the majority of toileting and feeding is done by the LSA’s.

The college is keen to acquire a unique individual who is determined and ambitious, with new ideas that will continue to improve this already excellent Specialist Unit. There is no doubt that this will be a challenging and demanding role… but for the right candidate this could be a great opportunity to learn from an established and creative team of educational professionals.

If you feel you are the right candidate for the job … please email your CV to Yaron at Remedy NOW!

Only experienced and seasoned teachers/Lecturers will be considered for this post due to the responsibilities and needs of the children.
