Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an ambitious and creative SEN Teaching Assistant to work at an OFSTED graded Good primary school in Barnet

About the role:

You will support a KS1 student who is Austictic and non verbal
Ideally, you will be proficient in PECS and Makaton
You will need to have the ability to build a positive relationship with students and staff.The school is based in Barnet with good transport links

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS:
* Location – Banret.
* Position – Teaching Assistant
*
* Full time/part time – Full time
* The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate of £26,000per year
* Hours – 8:30 – 15:30

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD is desirable
– Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
– Provide two professional references
