Semi-Senior Accountant – Part Time or Full Time

Salary: £26,400 – £38,400 per year

A long established and successful accountancy firm within reach of Newark-on-Trent, Grantham, Lincoln and Retford are hiring into an important job role for a Semi Senior Accountant OR Senior Accountant.

The firm are looking for someone to work in a varied accountancy role including using IRIS, Sage, Xero etc and working on bookkeeping, VAT, accounts preparation, possibly some payroll and tax computations

The role involves the preparation of annual financial statements for a wide variety of clients, using accounts production and cloud software. The firm’s clients range from small sole traders to large companies which makes the work interesting and varied.

This firm would like to take on an all-rounder using online systems like Xero and Sage.

• Bookkeeping for a variety of clients
• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns in a timely manner,
