Security Service Engineer (London)
My client specialises in the fabrication and installation of automatic gates, barriers, bollards, CCTV and access control equipment across the entire South East of England.
Due to continued expansion we have a position available for a Security Engineer (multi-skilled).
Role Overview:
+ A field based role operating within areas defined by the Company for multiple clients.
+ The provision of multi-skilled Security Engineering services at social sector, local authority, private, new build and commercial sites.
+ Responsible for the quality delivery of day-to-day Engineering activities in the field including attendance at allocated reactive service calls, planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) works, repairing or reporting faults and effective verbal communications between customers and the HO Administration team.
+ Site surveys (powered gate safety compliance and Risk Assessments)
+ Reports for accurate quotations in repair, safety compliance, upgrades and maintenance
Key Performance Areas:
+ Accountable for providing a quality Engineering service as required for each call or job, meeting the quality standards defined by the Company and delivering a “first time right” service.
+ Upholding the standards of the Company in every aspect including quality of work, meeting response times, personal performance, appearance and behaviour.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
+ Excellent knowledge of Security industry in respect to regulation, guidance, safety, equipment and systems
+ An excellent communicator
+ Having experience of operation in the field as Engineer
+ Accuracy, attention to detail and tenacity.
+ Ability to work alone and responsibly in the field
+ An excellent knowledge of and extensive experience of operating as a multi-skilled service Engineer within the security industry particularly (Door Entry, CCTV, Access Control & Gates)
+ Previous experience of working in social sector premises an advantage
+ Strong awareness of relevant H&S requirements for operating in this role
Must have and continue to have at all times:
+ have a valid right to work in the UK
+ hold a valid UK driving licence

+ £20,000 – £25,000
