JOB TITLE: Security Officer – Corporate Bench Officer (HIGH PROFILE CLIENT CANARY WHARF)

Salary: £26,000per year (SIA FRONTLINE LICENCE REQUIRED)

Cordant Security are currently seeking a motivated, customer focused individual to join our high profile Security Team within Canary Wharf.

Job Overview:

You will ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property.

Principle Accountabilities:

Undertaking patrols and inspections in accordance with management instruction.
Barrier and Access control
Emergency Response
Assist staff and visitors to site.
Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to
Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur
In addition to these functions employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.Requirements:

Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA licence
Must be able to provide a comprehensive 5 year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers
Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
Smart, well groomed and confident.
Conflict management aware
Security systems knowledge
First Aid training would be an advantage
Proficient use of relevant communications equipment will require candidates to have flawless spoken English – Successful candidates will be required to pass a communication skills assessment before they are able to work on site
You need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly disposition, an excellent standard of personal presentation and exceptional communication skills.
You will be a committed individual who gains both motivation and satisfaction from delivering excellent customer service.

Adaptable – Will be required to work at a number of locations on site
Flexible – Will be required to work a variety of shifts, often at short notice

Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time
