Aspray24 is a well-established privately run, family business, with a strong national network throughout the UK, specialising in next day delivery, logistics and International Transport, established for over 30 years, employing nearly 800 staff.
An additional team member is required to join the existing team at our Head Office in Willenhall, Wolverhampton.Duties include: Patrolling 3 sites covering 18 acres, ensuring that the sites are secure, intruder free and that the compounds remain “off limits” to anyone unauthorised to enter them.
The working shift is 4 days on 2 days off – 6pm – 6am or 6am – 6pm.
Other responsibilities include handling mail, greeting and booking drivers, greeting staff and the general public and answering any queries they might have.Guards will also be expected to monitor a high technology, state of the art camera surveillance system and detail and record any unusual activity.
The security officer will be expected to wash heavy goods vehicles and lorries using a specialist automated vehicle wash and also to complete various amounts of administration.It will be security’s responsibility to manage the sites while they are closed.Ideally, this person will take pride in their appearance, believe that first impressions count and will want to represent the business in the best way possible.
A full uniform will be provided by the company.
* Must have a current driving license
* SIA Card would be advantageous but not essential
* Previous experience working nights is desirable
* Educated the GCSE or O Level equivalent
* First Aid Qualified
* Fire Marshall Qualified
* Satisfactory CRB / Disclosure Scotland form
