Shift: Weekdays 7am – 7pm and Saturdays 7am – 2pm

Location: Harrow on the Hill, HA1

Alandale Security is a division within Alandale Logistics Ltd, based in the London’s Docklands. We work on high profile and complex projects and as an Approved Contractors Scheme (ACS) Contractor, we only used SIA licensed officers to ensure that we maintain the highest quality and standard of security services recognised within the industry.

We are looking for an experienced SIA licensed Security Officer (Guarding or Door Supervision) to help with the delivery of front of house security services on our construction projects in Harrow on the Hill. The ideal candidate should hold a valid SIA licence, be reliable, well presented and punctual with excellent oral and written communication skills. You will need to also reliable and able to manage the demands of a construction site, including access control, site patrols and incident reporting.

Key requirements:

• • A valid Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA 
  • Sufficient previous experience in security guarding
  • Clear communication both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication & administration skills
  • Must be punctual and have the ability to think in their feet
  • Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
  • Smart, well-groomed and confident.
  • A commitment to providing first class customer service is essential
  • Good report writing skills
  • Conflict management aware
  • High level of Customer Care Awareness
  • Proficient IT literacy would be a requirement i.e. PC/Internet Excel, Word
  • Experience in a busy alarm receiving centre environment would be beneficial

Key Responsibilities: 

• • To be reliable, well presented and punctual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft applications and PC skills.
  • Confident communicator able to relay critical information in real time to emergency services and senior management. You will also be able to note accurately any telephone reports that are received, dealing with them in a timely and polite manner.
  • Able to work weekends (more shifts available if required)
  • You will be ambitious, self-motivated and be able to work well under pressure as part of a team.
  • To have a knowledge of Security CCTV operation ( desirable)
  • Experienced in the operations of and Alarm Receiving Centre or CCTV control Centre ( desirable)
