Industrial Personnel are now recruiting for a Security Manager. Our client is a leading manufacturer of plastic piping systems based in the Doncaster area.
The successful candidate will act as a first line support to the Divisional Manager and maintain the safe and smooth running of the department by providing an effective and efficient service to both internal and external customers.
THE JOB
* £26,000 per year
* Temporary position.
* Based in the Doncaster DN12 area.
* Support the divisional manager in the everyday operations of the Security department and manage in their absence.
* Administer a team of officers in all matters pertaining to site security and operations across sites.
* Promote Health & Safety to an excellent standard.
* Ensure all team members are fully trained and can operate safely adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
* Review and action all assignment instructions, risk assessments and SWP’s.
* Respond promptly to any incidents, carryout investigations, record data and escalate actions as appropriate.
* Operate the CCTV in accordance with GDPR and company policy.
THE PERSON
* A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity.
* Must be honest, trustworthy, reliable, and methodical.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion.
* Experience of CCTV functional operations.
* Self-motivated with strong and effective management skills.
* Actively promote a positive image of the company all times.
* Ability to take ownership of processes and have the autonomy to manage own workload.
* Reliable & Punctual.
* Excellent communication skills.
* IT Literate in Microsoft Office applications.
* 2 years verifiable work history and experience within the Security Industry required.
* Must possess a valid SIA licence and full UK driving licence.
WORKING HOURS
Monday –Friday, 9:00-17:30 (40 Hours per week).
Please note this role is temporary and anticipated to last for 18 months.
