Salary: £30,000 per year
My client is looking for an intruder alarm engineer to carry out preventative maintenance on Intruder alarm systems for new and existing customers.
Your responsibilities will include, fault finding, repair and prevention, that installations meet health and safety requirements, calling customers to advise of time of arrival, provide excellent customer service, promote the companies locks and alarms image at all times, specifying and quoting for new intsallations, along with any other duties in line with the post.
You will need to have experience with wired and wireless systems, CCTV and Access knowledge is preference, a wide range of intruder alarm manufacturer experience.
Ideally you should have electrical knowldge with an apprenticeship or qualification based. Knowledge of the alarm standards, for example, BS4737, EN50131, PD6662, DD243 and BS8243.
You must have a current clean driving licence and be able to lift and carry ladders and associated equipment.
You will be covering South Wales and the South West, and will be part of an on call rota, which is one week in four. Whilst on standby you will be paid an addtional £150, and £20 for each call out. On top of this, should you be successful in any upselling of products, a bonus will be paid quarterly.
Salary is £30,000pa, with vehicle, uniform, tools all supplied
