Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
Sector Business Development Manager – Air Compressor / Compressed Air
Location: Nationwide (Midlands based)
Scope and Purpose of Job:
* Manage the total account commercial base including Client Head Office, Regional Office and Contacts.
* Expand the number of active customers within defined customers sectors
* Increase both sales and profits by generating new business from the Client Business Development team and the client’s customer base.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Contribute as a senior sales force member, to the formulation and implementation of sector based strategies to meet the company objectives. These strategies should be communicated throughout the customer base.
* Produce effective plans and budgets with particular focus on:
o Assigned market sectors
o Major multi-site companies/institutions
o New Accounts
o Projects

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
– You will have a strong educational background (Degree level education preferred)
– Minimum of 5 years working in a commercial/account management role in the compressed air sector
– Strong sector management experience, ideally focusing on the Facilities Management ( FM ) market
– Experience of securing framework agreements
– Proven ability to develop third party business for direct clients
– Engineering Experience is highly desirable
Knowledge
– Familiar with Compressed Air (Essential)
– Excellent IT skills to include Word, Powerpoint, Excel (Essential)
Database management knowledge and skill such as SAP (Essential)
– Comfortable with commercial portfolio; brand; product and promotion( Desirable)
– Knowledge and use of Customer Data base/CRM (Desirable)
– Good presentation skills (Desirable)
– Understanding of business finance and structure(Desirable)
