We are really after a megawatt personality, who will thrive on the challenge of buildling high performing development teams and can bring insights beyond just Scrum e.g. Continuous Improvement, Kanban or Kaizen.

Scrum Master – Essential Skills

In order to apply, you will be a talented and passionate Scrum Master, with proven experience of Agile software development using Scrum. Any insights you can offer into LEAN concepts and techniques like Continuous Improvement, Kanban, Kaizen and Socratic Questioning will help you stand out.

You will be able to talk us through real-life examples of when you have done the following – the good, bad and ugly!

* Worked as a Scrum Master within a modern, forward-thinking development team(s)
* Acted as a lead for the implementation of best practice and coding principles within an agile development team
* Operated closely with and got the most out of Product Owners to ensure the timely delivery of brilliant new features
* Led daily Scrum activities such as planning for stories & sprints, stand-ups and retrospectives
* Mentored junior Scrum Masters and coached best practice
* Used and built a deep understanding of Scrum & Kanban / Scrum-Ban as a LEAN methodology and enhanced continuous improvement
* Ideally, how you’ve innovated with LEAN Kanban and/or Kaizen techniques to fit and improve the development process

The Role – Scrum Master

The Scrum Master will work within an agile team of highly ambitious technologists and a management team with a track-record of growing software businesses from start-up into major international brands. You will have the chance to make a profound contribution to the success of the product and the company, by applying your talent to nurture a fantastic development team and execute an challenging product roadmap.

The SaaS product is built in the Microsoft.Net framework, using C# and ASP.Net MVC. The development team follows Agile processes, using a mixture of Scrum and Kanban with iterations ranging from 2-4 weeks. BDD/TDD, Pair Programming and Continuous Integration are central to development.

The Package

Role based in Basingstoke, within a short walk from the station and with parking if preferred. Commutable from: Reading, Thames Valley, Berkshire, West London, Surrey, Hampshire.
Basic Salary: £60,000 – £78,000dependent on skills and experience
