Job Salary: £31,200
Job Location: Cheshire (near Macclesfield, South Manchester areas)
Job Key Skills: Educated to PhD level in a Life Science or Pharmacy discipline with 1-2 years’ worth of research experience.
Job Summary: Life Science or Pharmacy-related graduates with experience gained within a research environment required for a Scientific Researcher job in Cheshire.
Our client specialises in the provision of Scientific Communication and Marketing solutions. They currently require a Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology or Pharmacy PhD graduate to join their team in Cheshire, filling a Scientific and Healthcare Researcher job.
Responsibilities:
The job will be centred on working with our client’s comprehensive database as well as external online databases in response to internal search requests.
Specific job responsibilities will include:
The provision of comprehensive results in response to ongoing project search requests (searches may be for medical literature, disease area information, clinical trial data, scientific journals)
Evaluation of research findings in accordance to search briefings
The production of reports relating to in-depth search requests
Job Requirements:
Educated to PhD level in a Life Science or Pharmacy discipline
1-2 years’ worth of research experience
Knowledge of Dialog Datastarweb, Pubmed and Web of Knowledge would be desirable
