Scientific and Regulatory Consultant

Salary: £26,000 per year

An excellent opportunity to join a specialist industrial chemical scientific and regulatory consultancy; they are well established, have a long-standing UK and EU client base, a strong pipeline of work and are looking to recruit the next member of the team.

The company provides a range of services including REACH – registrations/Only-representative, risk assessment, exposure assessment and hazard communication; they have a highly experienced team with an excellent reputation. They are happy to provide full training in the regulations but are looking for certain key skills; you must have strong scientific writing skills, attention to details, be able to read/summarise scientific reports and analyse data sets. You must be able to work proactively, be a quick learner, have personable communications skills and be able to fit into a small team of experts.

Suitable candidates are likely to have a degree/higher degree in toxicology or chemistry, and a proven track record within a scientific or regulatory role – this role would suit toxicology study directors interested in moving into a regulatory/risk assessment role; it would also suit regulatory candidates who would like to focus on REACH, registrations and chemical risk assessment.
