This new School Sport Coach/ Classroom Teaching Assistant position is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to coach in a Trafford Primary schools. The role focuses on promoting Football and Multi- Sports in Schools and looks for each child to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Throughout the school day you will also be required to work in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant, improving Literacy and Numeracy. This well established school is looking for someone with the experience and ability to come in and deliver high quality sports sessions and have an understanding of the National Curriculum and experience of working in schools.

The salary for this full time role is £26,000depending on experience.

As a Level 1-2 sports coach can you deliver high quality sports sessions that inspire young children to be active and participate in sport and exercise? Are you competent and confident in supporting Numeracy and Literacy in schools? If yes then we want to hear from you!

This School Sports Coach/ Classroom Teaching Assistant position will look for you to progress a KS1 & KS2 Children throughout. Therefore experience in working closely with the primary age group and evidence of promoting inclusion and differentiation will be beneficial in this post. You will be required to provide high quality meaningful sport sessions. Your sessions should challenge, progress and engage all children catering for their needs and abilities.

The School looks to provide outstanding sports sessions and not only develop the children’s sporting ability but look to educate the Primary Teachers on their delivery of PE and school sport.

The School encourages all Coaching staff to be self-motivated and Teaching Assistants, to be positive and to strive for excellence in order to develop and achieve their aspirations. The school is located near all major public transport links and are easily accessible by Metro, Bus or Train.

To join the QT team and be successful in this Sports coach role you will need to:
* Hold a Sports Coaching Level 1 or 2 qualifications.
* GCSE C in Maths or English or equivalent.
* Have effective classroom management and Primary School Experience.
* Build and develop professional relationships with both school staff and pupils and wider school shareholders.
