School Liaison Officer
College location: John Ruskin College (Croydon) and East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £25,816 – £27,369 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We have recently have an exiting opportunities arise within our Cross-College School Liaisons department for an School Liaison Officer.
In this role you will work very closely with the Head of School Liaison and Marketing department to represent both East Surrey College and John Ruskin College to potential students within local schools.
You will be responsible for driving engagement within the local community, focusing on local Schools as well as the adult community, in order to increase progression to the College and part time opportunities. You will be the key contact at John Ruskin College, working to develop relationships and opportunities in the community to promote the College as the leading vocational option.
Working closely with the curriculum Heads of Department and local schools, you will also support the development of the College’s 14-16 provision, ensuring quality assurance and supporting progression onto full time programmes.
The successful candidate must have:
- Excellent communication skills, working on a 1:1 support basis or with larger groups
- The ability to present in front of large audiences at school and college events
- A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle that can be used for work purposes
- The ability to work flexibly as there will be some early morning and evening working required
- Working with School Liaison and Marketing to promote the College group
