School Administrator

SIMS ADMINISTRATOR JOB AVAILABLE

A secondary school in St Helens that prides itself on its nurturing and encouraging environment for both staff and pupils is seeking a SIMS administrator in order to cover a sickness absence in the office.

The successful candidate will have access to on site parking and close public transport links as well as the chance to make a real difference and be a key part of the school team.

The day-to-day duties will include:

· Updating pupil and staff records on the SIMS database
· Entering pupil premium and free school meals on SIMS
· Ringing parents and liaising with staff
· Covering some reception duty
· Greeting visitors and asking for DBS checks
· Ensuring the visitors book is signed by all visitors
· Giving out visitors badges
· Updating registers on SIMS

The successful candidate will:

· Have school experience
· Have previously used SIMS system
· Have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude
