Scheme Manager – Autism & Complex Care

Aboutmesupport are currently looking for an experienced Scheme Manager for this new 14 bedded Supported Living service in the Northampton area. This particular scheme will support people requiring complex care and that are on the Autistic Spectrum.

Our client is recognised as one of the leading care providers within the Learning Disability / Autism industry which provides intensive rehabilitation and community integration.

You will have a min of 2 years commercial experience in management or team leadership within these types of services. We are looking ideally for local managers who have contact into the local authorities and managers that understand the significance of supporting people with varied degrees of Learning Disabilities and making them feel part of the local community.

One of the key roles will be to ensure that all effective processes and procedures have been implemented to ensure that the service users are safe and well looked after.

Requirements:

RNLD or RMN pref, although not essential
NVQ4 and / or RMA qualification.
Must have management experience, and experience of working with supported people with learning disabilities, excellent knowledge of the supporting people framework.
Strong leadership and communication skills, along with a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC Care standards.

The post will be subject to full, enhanced DBS.
