Job Purpose: To provide full sales administration support to Director-Level Sales team and to be involved in a wide range of sales-related activities to facilitate the sales process. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales support professional who has excellent communication and organizational skills and sales experience.

Main Duties:

Main point of contact with the sales team.

Supporting the sales team to achieve meetings with senior industry leaders in our market sectors, predominately in the NHS.

Scheduling diaries, making appointments, arranging demonstrations.

Managing correspondence between the sales team and their clients/prospects.

Answering inbound telephone calls and directing enquiries, forwarding information.

Making outbound calls to prospective clients to qualify the opportunity.

Producing proposals, quotations, agreements, letters, and any other written communications.

Processing sales leads.

Managing the Client Relation Management (CRM) database ensuring that all prospect, client and opportunity records and the sales pipeline reporting are up to date. Suggesting pro-active activity as required to meet personal and company objectives.

Preparing client briefing documentation, supporting client events, organizing appointments and attending where necessary as part of your personal mentoring.

Collating information and reporting on monthly sales figures, pipeline estimates and activity logs for the team.

Produce sales reports and update the sales board.

Assisting in event organization, sales meetings and other activities.

Continuous interaction with operational and marketing colleagues, keeping them abreast of sales activity and the supporting requirements from both teams

Managing the order process from receipt to invoicing, ensuring all company processes are complete and accurate information is conveyed both from and to the client

Additional duties:

Attendance at customer meetings as required
Attendance at seminars and events as required
Develop an in-depth knowledge of product set to be able to explain the scope of our solutions and position accordingly in relation to an organisations’ requirements.

The role is based at our office in Reading, however there may be occasional travel in the UK with possible overnight stays. A full clean driving licence is desirable.

Technical skills –

Understanding of and experience in business to business sales
Able to demonstrate an understanding of technical information and the ability to communicate this effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience of working with Microsoft Office, Microsoft dynamics CRM and the internet as a research tool

The ideal person –

Ideally educated to A level or degree level in a business related discipline
Personable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate good commercial awareness ideally gained in a solution sales environment
able to work independently and autonomously, using initiative
show confidence and resilience in dealing with senior people either in person or over the phone
demonstrate good attention to detail and ability to prioritise
be pro-active and understand the pressures of a sales team and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
be flexible to work around the needs of the business
have excellent organisational skills and be able to multi-task

Annual salary of c£30,000dependant on experience
