The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring that all divisional objectives are fully supported, to allow profitable growth of the business. You will work closely with your team to deliver excellent customer service whilst at all times meeting the group’s quality objectives and upholding their strong values.
Daily Tasks:
⦁ Maintain good contact with the team keeping them updated
⦁ Organise your time to ensure that you fully cover your assigned customer agreed with your Business Manager
⦁ Plan weekly visits to customers
⦁ General Admin – Phone calls / E-mails / Letters / follow ups
⦁ Correspond with customers providing support where required
⦁ Keep abreast of the technical aspects of your products
⦁ Calculation of individual customer pricing
⦁ Negotiation of prices with your customers in line with the authorisations agreed with your Business Manager
⦁ Send out quotations to customers ensuring excellent record keeping
⦁ Ensure information flow with your division colleagues regarding market price movements.
⦁ Protect the profitability of the company and adhere to your Divisional profitability targets.
Sample Requests:
⦁ Ensure sample requests are clearly requested from sales support
⦁ Check status of the sample with your team
⦁ Once samples are tested follow up with the aim of agreeing a sale
⦁ Ensure comments are reported on SAP system
Projects:
⦁ Research into the possibilities for new products
⦁ Research possibilities for new Markets
⦁ Information design / marketing launch
⦁ Cost reduction exercise
⦁ Packaging improvements / service improvements
⦁ Competitor market shares / analysis
⦁ Quality survey
