Salary: £26,000 per year

Acorn Recruitment is working on behalf of a successful business, based in Bideford, who operate on a national level providing specialist engineering services. Our clients has an immediate requirement for a B2B Sales Office Supervisor.

The purpose of the position is to organise the day-to-day running of the Sales Department and to supervise work flow in an efficient and cost effective manner, in order to maximise sales and meet the sales budget. To supervise sales personnel in the performance of their work, ensuring appropriate resources, supervision and training. To maintain industry and ISO quality standards and departments adherence to the company’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures at all times.

Responsibilities of the role:

· Monitor sales progress against budget and to motivate a small sales team and assist them to meet financial targets.
· Train staff in all areas of the sales process, including cold calling, generating new leads/business, creating quotations, follow ups, record keeping, administration, account management and keeping a please apply diary notes.
· Keep in regular contact with existing customers ensuring the service they receive is 100% and that any questions or queries are resolved effectively.
· Generating and keeping control of annual quotes and contracts and arranging visits for on-site engineers.
· Attending exhibitions periodically, which would involve an overnight stay.

The right person:

· Must have previous experience in supervising a small office team ideally in a B2B sales / account management capacity.
· Will have recent experience within a B2B sales/account management role, you may be working as a team leader or senior sales in a sales office and looking to progress.
· You must be able to demonstrate your understanding of industry, ISO quality standards, company systems and procedures.
· You will be a “hands on” people manager with the natural ability to train and mould your team in the best interest of your staff and the company.
· Be able to work with all levels of the business in a professional manner.
· Bring ideas that would help and assist with a better working practice.
· Must have a motivational attitude and be a team player.
