Sales Ledger Clerk

Salary: £26,832 per year

My client, an internationally recognised leader in its field, currently has an opening for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their company! The role offers £26,832 per annum and 40 hours per week (08:30 – 17:00, 30 minute lunch break, Monday to Friday).

Due to the location of the role, a Driving License and access to your own transport will be required.

Your new role as a Sales Ledger Clerk

• Investigating unallocated cash, liaising with customers to resolve
• Responding to and resolving customer queries regarding payments
• Allocating BACS payments and cheques to customer accounts
• Counting and allocating cash payment to customer accounts
• Preparing and administering direct debit payments, assisting with account reconciliations

About you

• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel

Due to the nature of the role, you will need experience working in a finance department.
