Salary: £11,628.90
Hours: 21 hours per week

We are looking for a Sales Assistant – Home visit for our Bathgate showroom. Can you deliver an exceptional level of personalised service to introduce feel good furniture to our customers and in turn improve their wellbeing.

A day in the life of a Sales Assistant- Home visit

Overview of position

  • This role would be a face to face position, where you will be visiting customers homes to help them with the picking the right piece of furniture.
  • You will have a consultative approach when selling.
  • show empathy and have the ability to communicate with customers using appropriate language and building rapport.
  • Have a great knowledge of the product to help assist customers when picking the right furniture for themselves.
  • Showing the customer the selection of fabric / leathers.
  • To deliver the agreed KPI’s for the Home Visit hub including Average Order Value, Customer Conversion rate and the Volume of Orders per team member.
  • Ensure that all orders are processed to the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in on going sales training to ensure that the ‘5 keys sales process’ is followed at all times.
  • Participate in sales training to develop their own skills to ensure that every sales opportunity is maximised.
  • Develop own awareness of competitor activity and local market conditions to offer informed input to the Team Leader.
  • Ensure that the visual presentation of the van stock, and supporting tools represent the standards of a premium brand and follow Company guidelines.
  • Complete dynamic risk assessments on Home consultation visits to assess and adjust activities around any posed risk both in the home, and between visits.

Experience / skill required.

  • Experienced within retail sales – Desirable.
  • Customer service or customer facing experience- Desirable.
  • Attention to deal.
  • Friendly, welcoming and caring attitude
  • Be able to assist with completing a sales order.
  • Have a natural empathy and ability to communicate with customers using appropriate language and building rapport.
  • Be able to demonstrate a full understanding of their customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.

With the roles being customer facing a DBS check will apply.

Our stores are open every day, so it is important to have flexibility to work during the weekends as well as weekdays.
