Our client is a rapidly growing chemical processing plant in Basingstoke. They import lithium, process it, and export it to their global client base.
As part of their expansion, they are working with us to recruit a Commercial Assistant/Sales Administrator to join their sales admin team. The Commercial Assistant/Export Administrator will be taking care of all admin tasks related to shipping of goods, export, customs, working in multiple currencies, international liaison on phone and email, preparing quotes, sales invoices, and purchase orders hazardous goods documentation and calculation of profit.
Ideal Candidates will be:
- Well educated – ideally with a background in maths or chemistry
- Highly numerate and commercially aware
- Detail conscious
- Experienced in a similar role
- Computer literate with good Excel skills
- Really confident working with numbers and calculations
- Personable, with good customer services skills and comfortable dealing with a global client base
- Car driver with own vehicle
We don’t expect you to have all the skills we are looking for, but with the right attitude, a comfort with numbers and good admin experience, our client will teach the rest!

This is a full time office based role. 8-5 Mon to Thurs 8-4 on Fridays
