£26,000 per year (£26,000 per year) reviewed on successful probation

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Ivy Recruitment is currently working with a client to support them in recruiting a Room Leader to work within their Toddler Room within their independent day nursery.

Suitable candidates will have:

* Good working knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Ofsted standards

* Complete knowledge of child development 0-5 years

* Sound knowledge of Safeguarding

* Making observations, next steps and up keep of children’s records

* Health & Safety procedures essential to a nursery setting

* Minimum of two years post qualification experience

* Knowledge of the National Standards & current Ofsted requirements for a day nursery setting

Essential

* Minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)

* English & Maths to GSCE Level A-C

* Current paediatric 1st Aid certificate
