Romanian Speaking Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a friendly Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Romanian to work in a thriving school in Handsworth. You will be responsible for interpreting between parents and teachers as well as working with small mixed ability groups of KS1/KS2 children and supporting the classroom teacher. This role involves helping children improve their literacy and numeracy as well as planning fun extra-curricular activities and charting their progress.

The ideal candidate will have:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

Experience of working in a similar role for a minimum of 6 months

A confident manner and will be able to adapt well to different situations

A genuine passion for working with KS1/KS2 children and be innovative and friendly
