Revit Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Revit Technician to join our client`s busy design team in Manchester to produce designs for kitchens, catering equipment and shop fitting in a leading catering specialist company that provide full turnkey solutions from conception to construction to an established blue chip client base.

This is a well-established company and this opportunity will be a permanent position. You will get the opportunity to work on some of the most complex, interesting and high profile projects over the coming years and develop your career.

You will be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD and ideally have experience of meeting with clients face to face. As an experienced Revit Technician you will be able to produce in depth detailed drawings to meet briefs given by clients and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Duties will be:

– Produce drawings of retail shop fit out using Revit
– Meeting clients face to face on site to discuss designs
– Create comprehensive building control drawings and on site surveys
– Read architectural drawing, briefs and surveys
– Implement and improve existing design procedures
– Communicate across different relevant departments to ensure the smooth running of the whole process
– Keep all administration up to date
– Manage own work loads and meet tight deadlines

What we are looking for is:

– Proficient in the use of Revit and AutoCAD and able to produce technical drawings
– Minimum of two years` experience as Architectural/Revit Technician
– Ability to create comprehensive building control drawings and on site surveys
– Some job running experience would be beneficial
– Have a keen eye for detail
– A good understanding of the catering industry
– Read and understand architectural drawing, briefs and surveys
– Self-motivated – manage own work load
– Team player – must be willing to assist with other designs when needed
– Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

In return you can expect:

– Salary £30,000 – £36,000

– Hours Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm with a 4.30pm finish on Friday
