Core Accountabilities

* Actively provide assistance and sales advice to all customers.
* Seek to continuously exceed and improve customer service.
* Personally maximise sales opportunities.
* Replenish the stock throughout the store, including the use of powered trucks, identifying where areas need attention and informing the management team.
* Ensure that effective security is maintained at all times in all areas, particularly in the till areas.
* Develop product knowledge to a high standard.
* Keep shelf-edge tickets and product information up to date and easily accessible to customers.
* Develop and maintain a good knowledge of all promotions and discounts available.
* Organise and maintain visual displays of merchandise.
* Maintain a good standard of cleanliness throughout the store.

* Assist the Store Manager and team with other duties as requested.
* Take a responsible attitude to Health and Safety at work.
* Physical lifting will be required as necessary.

* Demonstrable experience of working in a retail environment
* Demonstrable experience of consistently high levels of professionalism over the telephone
* Demonstrable experience of up sell additional products and services
* Excellent numeracy skills and literacy skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
* The job holder may be required to undertake other or additional duties as required in order to meet the needs of the business
