Here at Restore Digital, we’re seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team and help expand our delivery of insightful data, forecasting, and analysis. As a key player in our business unit, you’ll bring critical understanding and insight to the wider business, supporting key decisions and strategies. You’ll work closely with Sales and Operations analysts to ensure revenue and cost targets are met, and support monthly profit and project/customer reviews. You’ll develop KPI reporting and find new sources of data to help drive business decisions.

In addition, you’ll provide analytical support to Finance colleagues, using advanced Excel skills to communicate impactful summaries from large data sets. You’ll also create, update, and distribute customer contract P&Ls and handle ad-hoc queries.”

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting development
Update and enhance detailed revenue reporting (actuals versus budget and forecast) at business stream/customer level and provide monthly narrative on upsides and downsides of sales performance.
​Completion of monthly cashflow forecasts for Group Finance, linked to business budgets/forecasts.
​Support in developing large customer profitability P&L’s, ensuring correct revenue recognition and cost alignment and driving requirements for data capture.
Site profitability
5 Year Planning & Budget
Assist delivering the upcoming planning and budget cycle.
​Support development of financial modelling to enable collation of inputs from key stakeholders and present 5 year consolidated financial statements.
Support the planning submission deadlines and providing ad hoc support to various stakeholders as a key point of contact.
Commercial pricing model development
Assist in developing pricing models in terms of costing accuracy, model maintenance.
Support in attending contract bid meetings, taking away actions and providing financial support and advice.
Future for role development

The business is planning to establish a new MI and reporting team in the longer term (as systems and processes develop) to enhance the use of KPI’s in performance management, as we grow the business. It is the intention that this role will develop into a key team support in the development of a complete business MI structure, utilising Power BI, wholly focussed on driving business performance.

Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. And usually, we are busy digitising most of the exam papers undertake in the UK every year.
