Overview

Due to company growth here at Restore, we are currently recruiting for a Supervisor to ensure and manage the logistics and safeguarding of staff. This position will be working at our site in Redditch and offers a great opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop their skills and experience.

Responsibilities

Set clearly defined objectives for the team and progress towards deadlines.
Assess the team’s performance against specified standards of performance.
Strengthen individual and team performance by identifying performance metrics and use data from performance reviews to identify performance improvement.
Co-ordinate the daily activities of the production team and designated section leaders to ensure smooth output in the finished product that meets customer requirements.
Take responsibility for team performance, motivating others to drive towards high contribution and achievement.
Identify performance issues and develop a plan of action.
Coordinating teams in maintaining a methodical and organised approach to work, maintaining attention to detail, maintaining the quality of work whilst working in a pressurised environment meeting deadlines.
Liaise with upper management to establish goals in order to effectively manage workload to ensure the team’s achievement towards set goals.
Ensure all staff are trained and follow specified EDM policies and guidelines.
Communicate effectively with other departments such as sales and customer service to understand customer requirements and resolve customer complaints.
Monitor staff absence and timekeeping on a regular basis and take corrective measures by liaising with Scanning Manager and the HR team.
Evaluate employees’ skills to identify training needs and opportunities for development.
Update and maintain employees training records and ensure staff are trained in their respective duties.
Attend team meetings to develop document management services, discuss current staff performance in achieving targets, customer satisfaction with orders and areas of improvement.
Provide monthly feedback reports on issues surrounding production projects and jobs.
Daily reporting to the scanning manager of arising quality issues and technical issues.
Raise any concerns with regards to Equal Opportunity, bullying and harassment and bribery issues.
Contribute to the Companies Environmental Policy by being aware of the resources required to undertake this work and making sure that resources are not wasted and are disposed of in a sustainable way.
Follow safe working practices and assist in the maintenance of good housekeeping standards, in order to achieve a safe and healthy working environment.

Experience in supervising a team to deliver results.

Able to handle customer complaints in a courteous manner and offer resolutions to problems.
Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. And usually, we are busy digitising most of the exam papers undertake in the UK every year.
