The ideal candidate will already have experience of working with children or young people in a residential setting and have a real desire to provide high quality care and support to the children who live in a 6-bed home in Ashford, Surrey.

Residential Support Worker Benefits:

 Residential Support Worker Requirements:

• Level 2 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous experience of working with children or adults who have Learning disabilities in a Residential setting
• Valid driving license (preferred).
• Ability to set appropriate examples for children and young people, and to be a good role model 
• To motivate, assist and guide children and young people in their self-development
• Evidence of trying new ideas and being able to make changes when something is not working
• Ability to manage children and young people who display challenging behaviour
• Able to provide personal care if required
