Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year
Residential Property Paralegal
Our client a well-established multi-office law firm are seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their expanding Property department. Our client is committed to providing excellent customer service if you’re an experience Residential Property Paralegal our client would like to hear from you.
The Role:
1. You will be working closely under the direction and supervision of the Fee Earner
2. Take instructions or messages from clients and pass on to fee earner
3. To maintain an efficient diary system highlighting milestone dates on each matter and use bring forward system
4. To maintain filing system in an orderly manner to ensure correct conduct for client files, ensuring all files are opened and closed correctly
5. To assist in the provision of administration and legal services for clients, including sales, purchases, lease extensions, re- mortgages and transfer of equity
6. Draft letters, statutory declarations, statements of truth, sale contracts, land registry applications
7. Legal research into to topical issues
8. Assisting with the sourcing and maintaining of insurance policies
The Candidate
* 2 years’ experience within a Residential Property
* Paralegal qualifications/experience
* Computer literate, Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Flexible approach to work
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client care
* Effectively prioritise and have excellent organisation skills for a fast paced workload with tight deadlines
* Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
