Home based role, then managing own diary to cover mainly Middlewich, Cheshire

JOB ROLE

• We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor
• To observe, mark and assess and review the work of the learners for level 3 and 4 in residential childcare
• As a Residential Childcare Assessor, you will be delivering training remotely to learners
• Visiting learners face to face when needed in Middlewich and other locations needed in Cheshire
• To support, motivate and mentor the learners
• Using a portfolio system
• Managing a caseload of learners
• Attend weekly remote meetings online with team members to encourage new ideas and concepts

REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

• Assessor qualified such as TAQA, A1, D32/D33
• Must have assessed in Residential Childcare to level 3 or 4, even if only for 6 months
• Must have experience in the past of working In a care home for children/young people
• Useful if level 4 qualified or the young people’s workforce qualification, however not essential for the role

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Salary £33,300 – £35,700per annum dependent upon experience
• Mileage paid
• 26 days holiday + stats per annum (4 must be used for Christmas close down)
