Residential Care Worker

My client is looking to recruit dedicated Residential Care Workers for their Children’s Homes based in Sittingbourne and Maidstone.

My client is one of the country’s leading providers of education and residential care placements for vulnerable young people with complex and special educational needs, specialising in providing 1:1 support and education for young people with complex needs.

As a Residential Care Worker, your role is to provide comprehensive care to Children and Young People placed in the home, including physical, social and emotional care.

Your duties will include:
* Assisting and supporting the programs designed to support the emotional well being and growth of the residents within the home
* Plan. facilitate and attend visits with the Young People and their family’s where necessary
* Taking part in rotas which may include waking nights and sleep ins
* Ensure that the care provided is suitable to the individuals needs considering gender and ethnicity
* Writing risk assessments as and when requested

Holding a NVQ Level 3 would be advantageous and a full UK Driving Licence is essential.

This is a permanent full time role and has a Salary: £26,000per year, including sleep in duties.
