Our client, a well-established and reputable solicitors’ firm specialising in a wide range of legal services, is currently seeking a qualified Conveyancer to join their team and handle a diverse portfolio of residential conveyancing matters. As a client-focused firm, they require an individual who is not only competent in their legal practice but also possesses strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Managing a mixed portfolio of residential conveyancing files, from inception to completion.
- Conducting due diligence and title searches.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents.
- Advising clients on the conveyancing process and legal implications.
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other parties involved in transactions.
- Conducting property searches and managing land registry applications.
- Handling all aspects of client communication and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Requirements
- Qualified as a licensed Conveyancer, ILEX, CILEX, or CLC-qualified.
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential.
- Ability to handle a wide range of conveyancing matters, including purchases, sales, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, auction purchases, leasehold, freehold and shared ownership transactions.
