Research Associate – Graduate

Due to further expansion Green Street Advisors seeks highly motivated graduates with superior academic credentials to join its equity research team in London. Candidates will have a demonstrable interest in financial and commercial property markets and willingness to pursue the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.

Minimum requirements:
• Finance or economics related degree from a top-tier school
• Strong knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions and superior financial modeling and valuation skills
• Detailed understanding of financial statements and key economic and financial metrics
• High level of organization – the ability to multi-task effectively and handle a large number and variety of tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with ability to draw big picture conclusions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key job functions:
• Supporting senior analysts in all aspects of preparing and publishing a wide range of research reports
• Update financial models and produce high-quality company earnings and net asset value estimates
• Collecting, organizing and analyzing wide-ranging financial, economic and real estate information
• Assisting in the valuation of a number of REITs using a combination of quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Interacting with REIT management teams and institutional investors
• Understanding and communicating the implication of changing financial, macroeconomic and political news on specific companies, sectors, and assets
• Travelling to see property portfolios, meet REIT management teams and marketing research ideas to institutional investors.
