An exciting immediate opportunity as for an experienced Reactive Planner has arisen with our client who is a specialist maintenance contractor within the Midlands region.
After recently securing a number of social housing repairs and refurbishment contracts, our client is now seeking a Reactive Planner for their Leicester office.
The Maintenance Scheduler will:
• Be able to work well under pressure and understand the need for prompt allocation of works
• Schedule works and monitor the workforce and subcontractors to ensure that they comply with specifications to meet targets.
• Utilise the Impact’ system to effectively schedule reactive works
• Monitor and manage the operatives diaries to ensure all repairs are attended and completed within the required timescales
• Process the closure activities of the scheduling software and provide occasional cover for the front line scheduling’

The successful candidate must have:
• Experience within a similar type role essential, ideally within housing maintenance with the desire to provide excellent customer service
• First class communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and build relationships
• An understanding of responsive repairs contracts and what constitutes an excellent service

The successful Reactive Planner will demonstrate excellent IT and communication skills whilst understanding the need for efficient liaison with tenants and maintenance contractors.
