Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
Automation Repair Engineer (Drives) – Staffordshire
We are working with a supplier of Industrial Automation and electrical control equipment assisting them in their search for 2 Automation Technicians who are specifically experienced in the Fault finding and repair of Industrial Drives (Servo Drives, Variable Speed Drives, Variable Frequency Drives etc)
The Position:
Based out of their very impressive facilities in Staffordshire you will be an integral part of the team focusing on the repair and / or calibration of Industrial Drives down to component level for a number of different applications so experience with these types of products is essential.
You will be expected to solder to a high level and troubleshoot down to component level, using a range of test equipment (Oscilloscope, Multi-meter, and Function Generator).
The role involves approximately 90% bench level electronic and electro-mechanical and 10% documentation of actions taken on each item and communication of completions, using the CRM system
Work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (although in the spirit of honesty sometimes projects and assignments may extend beyond the normal workday)
