We are pleased to announce this opportunity in the Crawley area for a Driver to take the next step in their career. My client is a removals firm offering a diverse position which involves quoting jobs, giving estimates, dealing with extremely high end clients and conducting themselves professionally at all times.
Ideally a HGV license would be an advantage, however a normal driver with a vast amount of van driving experience would be considered.
This vacancy will consist of 60% driving and 40% dealing with clients and being in office. Planning routes for the team, taking in jobs from the phones and giving quotes to customers.
Our client prides itself on their reputation and are looking for someone who can help the company grow in the right direction.
Jobs can consist of domestic jobs all the way up to mansions and moves in Europe. So complete flexibility is ideal.
For the right candidate, my client is even willing to put an experienced Van driver through their HGV to obtain a HGV License, to drive their vehicles.
Responsibilities:
* Dealing with extremely high end clients
* Taking phone calls and organising jobs with clients
* Giving quotes and estimates to clients, enquiring about moves
* Driving 7.5T vehicles and class 2 Vehicles
* Leading a removals team to ensure the job is completed to the highest standard
* Learning the trade and understanding what the business does
* Ensuring you represent the company to the highest standard to maintain the high reputation
* Using a computer fairly regularly, learning the systems that the company uses for booking, payments etc.
* Manual handling, lifting heavy objects and transporting the clients belongings into vehicles for safe transportation
Requirements:
* UK Driving license, CPC & Tachograph is preferred, however an experienced driver who has driven 3.5T vehicles would be considered
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Physically fit
* Computer literate
* A genuine interest to develop, grow and progress within a strong established company
* A positive attitude to work and learning
