Can you provide a professional welcome and excellent customer service to all visitors of the Tickfield Training Centre?

We are looking to recruit evening and weekend support for events, meetings, training courses and conferences. The role will provide a range of facilities including setting up furniture and audio visual presentation equipment plus co-ordinating hospitality requests.

This role is vital in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests. We need someone who is friendly, reliable and competent person to join our new team and enhance our growing reputation as a leading event venue in Southend.

The role includes:

Provide a professional welcome, excellent customer service and receptionist support to all visitors of the Tickfield Training Centre on an ‘as & when’ basis to cover staff leave and specifically evenings and Saturdays.
Support the events, meetings and conferences in the centre by providing customer service support e.g. covering reception, meeting, greeting and assisting/directing guests, providing hospitality requests and presentation (audio & visual) equipment set up & demonstrations.
Open and close the centre and support the health, safety, welfare and security of colleagues and those visiting the centre at all times.
Work closely with other site tenants/users, suppliers, cleaning and catering providers to improve service delivery.
Seek customer feedback and support the promotion of the centre to all staff, partners, stakeholders and external customers using all appropriate written and social media.
Develop customer service standards and maintain high levels of customer care. Providing a professional welcome as a host to all visitors using the centre.
Set up rooms and spaces in a variety of layouts within the centre, including moving equipment, flip charts, chairs and tables.
Operate, maintain and load the self service hot drinks machines.
Support caterers with the storage, handling, laying out and clearing food, drinks, plates and refreshments.
