About the role – Release & Change Control Manager

•We are looking for an experienced Release & Change Control Manager to take on a challenging role managing the governance of software releases, configuration and infrastructure changes
•This role reports to the Head of Quality Assurance & Test
•This role will be to control delivery of releases and changes to an agreed schedule and in adherence with Fourth’s quality control gateways, in liaison with the Product Management, Development, QA and Infrastructure teams
•Influence the evolution of Fourth’s change control and governance processes
•Enforce a quality approach to all aspects of change delivery
•This is a very exciting opportunity, as we work to take our delivery processes to the next level.

Skills & Experience (they are quite fussy about some of these to ensure they hire the right companions on our journey)

•Be able to demonstrate extensive experience managing and controlling software releases (deployments) and changes to development, test and production environments
•Knowledge and experience of change control and governance processes
•Strong Project Management skills and experience is essential
•The ideal candidate will have worked in lean / agile teams
•Self-motivated with a passion for quality
•Strong communicator; both internally (across multiple functions) and externally with customer stakeholders
•You must be able to work in a demanding and pressurised environment and be able to communicate to all levels of the business.
