Ginger Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working individual to join a leading chemical and fluids manufacturer, at their European headquarters. This global business works with a wide variety of manufacturing industries developing and producing numerous fluid solutions in the form of oils, lubricants and special purpose chemicals.

As a result of continued growth by demand the company now seeks to add an experienced Regulatory Affairs Analyst.

The Role…
ï‚¶ Create regional regulatory compliance strategies working with the Product Stewardship Manager in EMEA and the Corporate Regulatory Affairs Analyst
ï‚¶ Identify areas of regulatory risk to core business activities in the region of responsibility
ï‚¶ Deliver expert advice to regional leadership on emerging regulatory trends
ï‚¶ Actively participate in the raw material approval process, the product introduction process and the Stage Gate process to ensure the appropriate product stewardship/regulatory analysis checks are performed for planned changes within the region
ï‚¶ Engage with key industry groups, NGOs, regulatory agencies and other regulatory experts within the regions of responsibility

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate…
ï‚¶ Degree in either Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environment or Health and Safety
ï‚¶ Minimum of 5 years working as a business lever or a regional level product regulatory expert
ï‚¶ Experience in one or more geographical region preferred
ï‚¶ Direct experience covering EMEA required
ï‚¶ Experience in the speciality chemical or chemical industry preferred – 8 – 10 years
ï‚¶ Ensure GHS compliant safety data sheets and labelling requirements
ï‚¶ Familiar with hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation requirements
ï‚¶ Strong knowledge of national regulatory legislation
ï‚¶ Import/export/manufacturing regulations
ï‚¶ Strong Project Management of multiple projects is critical
