Ginger Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working individual to join a leading chemical and fluids manufacturer, at their European headquarters. This global business works with a wide variety of manufacturing industries developing and producing numerous fluid solutions in the form of oils, lubricants and special purpose chemicals.

As a result of continued growth by demand the company now seeks to add an experienced Regulatory Affairs Analyst.

The Role…
 Create regional regulatory compliance strategies working with the Product Stewardship Manager in EMEA and the Corporate Regulatory Affairs Analyst
 Identify areas of regulatory risk to core business activities in the region of responsibility
 Deliver expert advice to regional leadership on emerging regulatory trends
 Actively participate in the raw material approval process, the product introduction process and the Stage Gate process to ensure the appropriate product stewardship/regulatory analysis checks are performed for planned changes within the region
 Engage with key industry groups, NGOs, regulatory agencies and other regulatory experts within the regions of responsibility

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate…
 Degree in either Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environment or Health and Safety
 Minimum of 5 years working as a business lever or a regional level product regulatory expert
 Experience in one or more geographical region preferred
 Direct experience covering EMEA required
 Experience in the speciality chemical or chemical industry preferred – 8 – 10 years
 Ensure GHS compliant safety data sheets and labelling requirements
 Familiar with hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation requirements
 Strong knowledge of national regulatory legislation
 Import/export/manufacturing regulations
 Strong Project Management of multiple projects is critical
