We are seeking a Regulation Manager this is a new role within the company supporting the Head of Regulation to deliver our regulatory objectives by working collaboratively with industry and internal colleagues. The objective of this role is to represent Evolve’s interests with key stakeholders including the Utility Regulator, CCNI, government departments, network operators and gas suppliers.

You will be involved with all aspects of regulatory compliance including promoting a culture of compliance and regulatory awareness within the company.

You will monitor ongoing developments with regulations and industry standards and identify opportunities to influence decision makers and make improvements.

The ideal candidate for this position would have exceptional strategic thinking skills and would be able to adapt to the ever-changing environment. They would be a skilled negotiator with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with others. Moreover, they should have the ability to work independently and react quickly to any situation that may arise.

What will you be doing day to day?

  • Supporting the development of broader strategic regulatory decisions, establishing an Evolve position and communicating clearly internally and externally.
  • Collaborating with other network operators on existing and future market rules.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of decarbonisation policies and procedures.
  • Defining an Evolve position in consultation with internal process stakeholders and communicating it to internal policy stakeholders where necessary.
  • Engaging with other areas of the business to communicate regulatory changes and input to strategic decision-making.
  • Manage regulatory compliance with licence and network code obligations.
  • Coordinating regulatory submissions such as annual regulatory reporting templates.
  • Supporting the company’s Price Control processes
