I am working with a leading provider of community based brain injury rehabilitation, providing clients with a high standard of nursing care and an intensive therapeutic rehabilitation programme. They have a beautiful unit in Duson, Northampton which offers first class care and facilities to residents who need a specialist environment to manage more complex health and nursing needs. Residents will have undergone a period of active rehabilitation and have reached a point where focus now is more about managing the progress they have made and ensuring that their quality of life is as full and meaningful as it can be. They are currently looking for a qualified Nurse to join their fantastic team. 

Duties for this post include:

• Leading the nursing shift
• Ensuring high quality, specialist nursing care is delivered whilst working within the multidisciplinary team
• Taking responsibility for the physical well-being of the residents, ensuring that needs are met
• Leading, motivating and mentoring a team of staff
• Carrying out assessments and individualised care plans for residents
• Promoting residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect
• Delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement

You must be able to demonstrate:

• An RMN/RGN/RNMH or RNLD qualification and NMC registration
• A passion for caring and helping people maintain their independence and choice
• A proven ability to deliver an excellent service and promote excellent relationships
• The ability to lead, mentor and motivate a staff team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and belief in giving your personal best at all times
• The ability to work nights
