Registered Nurse

Salary: £20.4 per hour

Are you a Registered General Nurse?
My client is a well established residential nursing home and is part of a care group that has 25 homes across the UK. They have a CQC rating that is good and specialise in supporting adults and the elderly who have various needs including post stroke care, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida. They offer full time support to all there residents with a passionate and experienced team that are committed to providing quality care. The residents are also lucky enough to get home cooked food and regular actives indoors and out.
Due to expansion they are recruiting for a registered nurse (RGN), You will be:-
* Based at their nursing home facility in York
* Working 7.45am till 8pm, 3-4 days per week (all breaks and lunch paid for)
* Working on a rolling shift that covers weekends as well
* Helping residents with peg feeding, administering medications, dealing with catheters, wound care, as well as liaising with outside medical professionals
They would also consider someone looking for part time hours or even working night shifts instead of days
Qualifications/Experience/Requirements
* Qualified nurse (RGN) – they would consider a freshly qualified nurse
* Valid NMC Pin
* Experience with nursing in regard to physical disability would be ideal but not essential
* Living within travelling distance to the home in York– a driver would be preferred as public transport is sparse

* £20.4 per hour (36.75 hours per week paid if you do 3 days per week, 49 hours paid for 4 days per week)
* Joining bonus of £2,000 that gets paid in increments after probation period
