Location: Seaford, East Sussex
Salary: £46,000 per annum plus benefits
Contract: Full time, permanent

We are on the look out for an extraordinary leader, committed to delivering high quality support and focus on personalisation. You will join us as a Registered Service Manager for two of our homes and a day service in Seaford, East Sussex.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and running efficient services in Seaford, helping people to achieve an aspiring life. You will be ensuring that the services meets the values of the organisation, and these are at the heart of everything we do. You will need to demonstrate leadership values such as resilience, impact, authentic, communication skills, driving to outstanding and to promote independence by learning new skills.
As the Registered Service Manager you will be required to:
- You will work with the people we support and their families. You will support them in the decisions they make about how they live their lives and ensuring that they live a great life!
- You will manage all aspects of running the home including but not limited to:
- supervision of staff
- rotas
- care planning
- quality assurance
- training
- budget management
- finances
- management of medication
- You will monitor activities and ensure quality of support and care is in line with SeeAbility’s policy and sector regulatory standards.
- You will create a culture of team development and team working following our values and behaviours. This will aspire to the delivery of best practice for individuals using our services.
- You will demonstrate the ability to represent the organisation in an appropriate and professional manner in all internal and external contact and relationships.
- You will develop our vision of creating a day service that brings together the local community and isn’t solely reliant on a building to create opportunities for the people we support
The Service Manager must have:
- QCF Level 5 or working towards one (or equivalent)
- Prior experience and an understanding of learning disabilities and other complex needs including PBS needs
- Management level experience within the social care sector
- Experience of effectively managing change and delivering service improvements
- Experience of collaborating with local Authorities, Commissioners, families and circles of support
- Exemplary leadership that develops high performing teams through a coaching and collaborative approach
- Effective budget and resource management skills
- Experience of managing more than one home
