Registered Manager – Learning Disability Service

Aboutmesupport are currently looking for an experienced Registered manager for this new build Supported Living Scheme in Workington, Cumbria.

Our client is recognised as one of the UK’s leading care providers within the Learning Disability industry which provides intensive rehabilitation and community integration.

You will have a min of 2 years commercial experience in management or team leadership and have experience of supporting people with varied degrees of Learning Disability & Autism as well as experience of referrals and assessments for service users.

We are looking ideally for local managers who have contact into the local authorities and managers that understand the significance of supporting people with varied degrees of Autism and Learning Disabilities and making them feel part of the local community.

Requirements:

NVQ4 and / or RMA qualification.
Must have management experience, and experience of working with supported people with Autism, excellent knowledge of the supporting people framework.
Strong leadership and communication skills, along with a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC Care standards.

The post will be subject to full, enhanced DBS.
