Registered Manager – Children’s Home

My client is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Manager for their Children’s Home based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

My client is one of the country’s leading providers of education and residential care placements for vulnerable young people with complex and special educational needs, specialising in providing 1:1 support and education for young people with complex needs.

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the home, including the day to day running and the quality of life enjoyed by the young people.

Your duties will include:
* Deliver and encourage the best possible care of young people
* Responsibility for arranging admissions of young people to the home in line with the companies policies and procedures
* Seek to maintain the maximum level of individuality and independence of the young people
* Comply at all times with statutory legislation requirements
* Behave in a responsible manner at all times
* Maintain a rota for all staff
* Monitor and appraise all staff to ensure they are undertaking all duties in a responsible manner

To be considered as the next Registered Manager, you must have experience in a similar role and hold your NVQ Level 5, Level 5 Diploma or an equivalent qualification. You must also be a driver.

This is a permanent, full time position and the salary is £36,000 – £39,600.
