Registered General Nurse RGN Case Management Nurse (2 vacancies)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered general nurse to work for a large and successful leading UK healthcare services provider based in Greenock. The company performed fantastically well in 2015 are looking to build on that success in 2016 and grow the case management nurse team to facilitate future growth. You will be office based and receive in depth training from day one to enable you to provide guidance and support to patients using an Insurance (PMI) Healthcare Plan. Ideal candidates will be computer literate, possess an excellent telephone manner, strong negotiation skills and be a good team player. Our client has stipulated that applicants be currently working in a hospital setting.

You will require a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience ideally gained in Mental Health / Opthamology / Oncology / Orthopaedics / ENT / Neurology / Neurosurgery / General Medicine / Surgical settings.

Your duties & responsibilities:

A telephone based role using a multi disciplinary approach to evaluating patient treatment plans, assessing, and facilitating the need for alternative services.
To work with patients/family, clients and medical professionals at all levels.
To work within NMC Guidelines, whilst adhering to Cigna protocols and processes.
Self motivation, uses own initiative and will make decisions.
Achievement of set individual goals that contribute to the overall performance of the team.
