Regional Security, Information Protection Manager

Regional Security and Information Protection Manager – Automotive – Oxford – to £61,200+ generous benefits package

Can you offer strong project management, collaboration and consultancy skills within security? This Security and Information Protection Manager role will see you develop a regional IP network/ deliver, communicate and evaluate effective information protection policies, procedures and processes to regional market operational teams.

Acting as the main point of contact for any information protection issues, you’ll monitor the implementation of security and information protection standards to ensure that they are compliant with legislation and internal guidelines. You’ll conduct security and information protection audits and provide advice, support and training to stakeholders to increase productivity and reduce any related risks to company assets. Additionally, you’ll create security and information protection concepts based on the Group concept framework.

As the Security and Information Protection Manager, you must have excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. Other desired features will include:

– Proven security and information risk management experience, ideally gained within a corporate environment
– Experience gained within a large multi-national company serving diverse regional markets dealing with information protection and security issues, such as Prototype Protection and security training
– A strong working knowledge of applicable laws and experience of developing networks within the law enforcement community
– A thorough understanding of security and information protection requirements relating to sensitive design data and high value asset protection
