Regional H&s Advisor – FM / Care Sector

Get the App Our client a major player in the care industry is looking to recruit an experienced NEBOSH qualified (ideally NEBOSH diploma but will consider someone working towards the Diploma or NVQ Level 4) regional H&S advisor for the Scottish / North Eastern region of the country to support a number of supported living and domiciliary care provision offices in a variety of settings.

The client is looking for someone with a strong care / NHS / healthcare background in residential / domiciliary / home care or supported living environments with an understanding of care plans, the CQC and their standards and a genuine desire to implement change. You will work closely with the SHE manager to form a close knit team helping to shape policy and procedure while still having a very hands on presence working with branch managers / care managers and service managers delivering training, undertaking risk assessments, auditing sites, delivering training and offering a consultative service to all stakeholders.

The company are looking for a candidate that holds the NEBOSH general certificate as a minimum ideally NEBOSH diploma or NVQ Level 4 (or at least working towards) and at least 2 years recent experience within the care industry ideally within supported living or domiciliary care environments or facilities services.
